Your words resonate with many of us I think…we have forgotten how to feel…feel the sun on our face, the warmth of animals and the feeling of actually being alive. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I love horses and wish I had more opportunities to be in their presence. What a blessing 🥰

"Am I protecting myself or hiding myself, I keep asking."

This is a question I've been swirling around too. I'm not sure there's a formula to discern the difference, but I think I'm realizing that most of my self-protective instincts are based on false premises. Or are actively stifling me rather than keeping me safe.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this theme.

That last photo of the horses in the cold misty air is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, a lot of things have happened in the last 8 years, even in the last 5 years. Since 2020, the world has experienced change. My constant hope and peace is that even with all the change and turmoil, Jesus Christ is my anchor in the storm. He is my joy. Even when I don't feel happy, I have His joy within my heart. Knowing Him makes all the difference. My eternity is secure in knowing that I will go to live with Him in Heaven. No matter what happens down here, He is my rock and anchor.

"Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable (unchangable) things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

Hebrews 6:17-20

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."

James 4:8

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:16
